Does anybody have any idea of how to fill a tank with water? It sounds simple but the problem is the tank also contains some other fairly complex structures inside which the water will surround.  The only way I have managed to get around this is to create the water as another structure leaving holes for the other internal tank structures and mating this to the inside of tank. This is far from ideal however for my application, so if anybody knows of a better way of solving this problem I would be very grateful.

Thanks

I'm not sure... Does Solidworks support Boolean operations? If so, perhaps you could create a big "water cube" and then boolean-subtract your other structures from it. (Unless that's what you're already doing).
