Dave archer

Andover - Hampshire.

Does anyone know why I cannot find any courses for Solidworks in any common or garden Colleges ?
Evening courses, etc.

I am training to become a design engineer, but the only relevant courses I could find was for Autocad 2007, so I am now at college learning that.

A lot of design engineer positions now require Solidworks experience, but where do I find that ?

Seems that only Solidworks run Solidworks courses, great if you can afford the £ 400 a day.........

Hi Dave,

All I found about SolidWorks reseller in the UK is this:
http://www.solidworks.com/pages/services/T...Sdirectory.html

Iwould suggest to do the solidworks training manuals as a selftraining,
which are included in solidworks. They are not bad wink.gif

Hi Nika,

Thanks for the reply, I have not been back here for a month so I have just read it. rolleyes.gif

I am currently using the training manuals, they are quite good, but limited.
My problem will come along when I need to pass the CSWP exam.

It still looks like that I will have to go on an expensive training course just to have any access to the exam. sad.gif

Do you know if it is possible that I could just take the exam somewhere ?

regards

Hi Dave,

As far as i know, you can take your exam wherever you want- you just need an internet connection.
For additional information: http://www.solidworks.com/pages/services/T...nformation.html

I found a site with example CSWP Tests and manuals, maybe they will help you smile.gif

Cheers, Annika
